How it all started...
The Hendersonville Church of God is part of the international Church of God denomination with headquarters in Cleveland, TN. The Church of God began in the mountains of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee in the late 1800’s. Over the last 130 years the Church of God has grown from a very localized movement to an international presence with churches in over 190 countries and every state in the United States. The Hendersonville Church of God was founded in 1932 and has been part of the Hendersonville community since that year. First located in a house, then later moved to Willow Street, in the late 1970’s the Hendersonville Church of God moved to it’s current location.
